Research Description

1. Research on novel gene exploration related to cancer occurrence, prognosis and drug resistance; genetic co-expression network analysis; functional pathway analysis using bioinformatics methods. The database is from public transcriptome database, such as NCBI GEO, UK biobank and Taiwan Biobank.
2. Using Taiwan’s national health insurance database to evaluate treatment effects, complications risk and prognosis of drugs, such as long-term use of different types of statin to assess the risk of ischemic stroke.
3. Using National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) public database to analyze the impact of the interaction of sleep, smoking and other risk factors on kidney disease.
