Research Interests

To investigate the regional pituitary gland blood perfusion using magnetic resonance imaging.

Knee cartilage and subchondral bone marrow changes and their possible pathogenesis in chronic kidney disease in rat model.

Treatment strategy in osteoarthritis and MR Imaging biomarkers.

Laboratory Description

Our laboratory is interested in the technical developments related to clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with special emphasis to neural, head-neck, and musculoskeletal applications. The topics under active investigations include: (1) Pharmacokinetic model based dynamic contrast enhance MR imaging techniques study; (2)Diffusion imaging techniques; and (3)T2 mapping and (4) Proton MR spectroscopy. Research collaborators consist of major domestic academic centers, including Tri-Service General Hospital, Academia Sinica, and National Taiwan University.
