The battalion was reorganized on 1th July, 2013. The headquarters is composed of commander (lieutenant colonel), chief of counselor (major) and 4 staffs (administration officer, political warfare officer, logistic corporal and administration employee). The battalion is divided into a graduate squadron and 4 cadet squadrons, each has a commander and a chief of counselor. According to the sources of tuition, there are students at military expense, government expense, self-financed, and the overseas students. Based on “The Law of Military Academy Management”, “The Doctrine of Student Handbook” and the core spirit “fraternity and loyalty”, it carries out life management, moral education and student counseling to cultivate the military medical officers and biomedical professionals with patriotic loyalty, sturdy and healthy body, expertise and humanistic care.
